One good thing coming out of the pandemic is I’m getting back into the swing of travel! I have trips planned over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. After using my old Away suitcase for years, and it literally breaking down during my last trip 😭 I knew I wanted to try something new.

After customizing the bag online, it was made to order at the ROAM factory in Georgia and shipped to me. It was surprisingly quick to arrive! I think the whole thing from order to delivery took 10 days.
When I got the bag, I noticed that it’s much much lighter than my old luggage. The 100% virgin polycarbonate outer shell is durable and sleek. I also was surprised to learn that I can safely wash the interior lining to keep the bag clean. (Neat freaks unite!)
The bag is pretty roomy. I added some of ROAM’s packing pods to my order that are designed to hold smaller items to maximize packing space (you know I love staying organized). You can also opt for an expandable bag, but I wanted mine to meet all carry-on size requirements.
